 From little acorns mighty oaks do grow... Origin Specialty Foods emerged from humble beginnings - it all started in 2005 with a commitment to exclusively source fair trade organic certified coffee, cocoa and tea from worker owned cooperatives and family owned farms.   Initially our customers were non-profit groups looking for ways to economically support and promote the social and environmental benefits of fair trade and organic products. This has since grown to include a broader base of specialty food ingredient buyers and brokers looking for ethically and sustainably sourced products that are superior quality and competitively priced. 

1. Origin Direct - working direct is always our focus - ensuring the highest quality products at the most competitive prices. 
2. Building Relationships - behind each product is a person, a family, a group of people working together - we approach all of them with good will and a desire to see them benefit from working with us.   
3. High Standards - Third party certificates are a great part - but we spend much time with our origin partners ensuring there is good fit and if needed - providing technical expertise and equipment needed to improve the quality of their products.
